Description

This position supports the Appraisal Review team performing administrative functions such as ordering appraisals, tracking payments, following up on paperwork and other duties that make the appraisal review team more efficient. 

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Orders appraisal reports from independent contracting real estate appraisers

  • Tracks and authorize payments for real estate appraisals

  • Manages the fee panel of real estate appraisers

  • Enters data from real estate appraisals into computer systems

  • Provides follow-up on a consistent basis with appraisers and retail loan processors

  • Responds to inquiries from retail loan officers and account managers/executives

  • Creates and maintains databases

  • Maintains status of all files in possession and updates system as needed

  • Completes all required paperwork and forms in a timely and accurate manner; prepares all required reports for to be reviewed by Staff Appraisers

  • Helps the department meet daily SLA and other customer service requirements

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions

  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds

 

Preferred:

  • Two + years of experience in mortgage operations, title, or appraisals
