Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Wholesale PipelineSupervisor’s objective is to ensure the team members production, service levelsand quality are within established guidelines based on processes set forth inthe process guides.  The Supervisor willsupervise a team of pipeline managers and wholesale loan processors to ensureteam performance and service levels are met for all our wholesale channelpartners. 

Job Functionsand Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individualmust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Manage wholesalepipeline and processing staff to ensure overall pipeline of active loans isprocessed efficiently and within service SLAs

  • Work closely with Operations Manager in furtherrefinement of processes     

  • Train and advise staff on how to resolve elevatedloan and/or personnel issues

  • Complete performance reviews and monthly reporting

  • Manage performance improvement plans as necessary

  • Track and manage time off both approved andunscheduled

  • Audit Origination System on a regular basis toensure data quality is maintained

  • Manage workflow and the overall pipeline to ensureall turn-times are being maintained

  • Hire and train staff as needed

  • Provide coaching and performance management counselingas needed

  • Coordinate and lead teammeetings as needed

  • Coach team members tobecome experts in their positions

  • Assist the Operations Manager in developing andfacilitating department standards and procedures

  • Mentor staff in solvingquality control issues within the Operations department

  • Develop and conduct training for new hires

  • Work on projects as assigned by the OperationsManager

  • Report weekly and monthly pipeline performance

  • Work to resolve escalated loan level issues andprevent future escalations

  • Work with sales management on production andservice as needed


Qualifications

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individualmust have the following education and/or experience:

  • Two years of leading or supervising a team

  • Five years of processing, pipeline management orunderwriting experience required

  • Mortgage origination experience required, reversemortgage experience preferred

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally andin writing

  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork

  • Organizing and coordinating skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain files and records

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritizetasks

  • Demonstrated skill in the use of personal computersand related software applications

  • Knowledge of customer service standards andprocedures

  • Good customer service skills, attention to detail,and reliable

  • Employee must work well under pressure, meetingmultiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines

  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleaguesand supervisors at all times
