Responsiblefor leading onshore and offshore teams to timely and compliantly manageProperty Preservation and inspection activity (PPI) for FHA, VA properties.This role will also oversee 2nd Chance Auction sale process andpreservation related to the conveyance process.

 

JOB FUNCTIONSAND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

To perform this job successfully, an individualmust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Examples below:

  • Management of Property Preservation and inspection process to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Provides oversight and management to Safeguard/Xome properties for inspection and repair services
  • Provides oversight and management for property registration and Utility services.
  • Responsible for management of Invoice review and processing
  • Provide oversight and management for insurance claims
  • Responsible for overseeing the Repair Bid approval process and preparing loss analysis sheets for senior management review/approval of bids.
  • Manage the process relative to Contract Compliance policies, boarding of new policies, Invoice approval and payment.
  • Work closely with our vendors to ensure preservation has been done on time and the cost is within industry standards
  • Accountable for daily operations of PPI team.
  • Ensure qualitative and quantitative standards are met, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions and analysis of the weekly/monthly production reports and monthly operations report in order to take steps that will bridge any shortfalls related to production/client requirements.
  • Responsible for providing resolution to loan related inquiries from customers and other various customers or clients.
  • Assertive management style, strong sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy, tight control over the process, flexible, able to multi task and perform under pressure.
  • Continually reviewing each individual process to ensure it is being completed in the most efficient and accurate manner.
  • Continually train, lead, motivate and develop subordinate staff members.
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure standards are being met.

 

KEY RESULTSAREA: (if needed)

 

  • Assess work flow and current procedures for post-closing and work with QC to ensure process is efficient.
  • Oversee and manage all the vendors providing PPI service to PHH.
  • Ensure all the vendors are following HUD/VA guidelines to minimize the HUD denial.
  • Ensure repair Bid approval process and preparing loss analysis sheets for senior management review/approval of bids.
  • Analyze, suggest, develop, and implement procedural change to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain effective reports to track inventory, production and quality.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the department and works with other leaders to streamline and promote changes to existing policies and procedures in an effort to promote best practices and enhance productivity.
  • Administer training, coaching and corrective measures to team members that promotes attainment goals and continuous improvement.


Qualifications
  • Experience managing small team in a previous role is required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Property Preservation process management or process transition role, performing operations and management duties is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Property Preservation is preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Must be comfortable with approximately 25% travel
  • Knowledge of Property Preservation Process
  • Experience in vendor management and relation
  • Knowledge of Invoice Management and approval
  • Knowledge of HUD/ VA guidelines for Property Preservation Process 
  • Excellent communications skills (oral and written) with the ability to deliver effective presentation.
  • Fast learner, open to working in a dynamic work environment.
  • Should be able to create and analyze basic data/reports and provide synopsis/summary of performance.
  • Should be confident, possess an independent thought process, be willing to take initiative and has a strong sense of urgency.
  • Should be able to adjust to change and come up with practical ideas for dealing with immediate and evolving business requirements.
