Position Summary:

Risk and Security Professional as part of our inhouse Information Security team. In this role, individual is expected to develop and maintain a robust Information Security posture and ensure compliance with ISO27001 framework. Resource is expected to review multiple area within the Information Security Domain. Assess and monitor various threat landscape and ensure corresponding risks are highlighted and documented for treatment accordingly. The individual should have experience in conducting risk assessments and related governance activities. Extensive interfacing with stakeholders across IT and Business is expected to gather information, perform gap assessments and streamline activities as and when required. Manage external audits and ensure adherence to client and regulatory requirements in line with organizational policies.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

•Manage the Information Security governance process including Policy and Standards and User Access Recertification for the organization
•Provide oversight on the reporting and assist IT Stakeholders in defining IT strategy, information architecture and other technology directions
•Conduct assessment / review of IT processes and recommend action for improving IT governance maturity using reference frameworks like ISO 27001/ ITIL/others
•Plan and implement ISMS in key business functions Asses and manage information risks enterprise risk management
•Maintain compliance to accreditations/certifications like ISO 27001 (surveillance, re certification audits)
•Review the Information Security training programs for staff and work towards continuous improvements.
•Interface with business users, collect their feedback on Information Security performance, and drive improvements
•Provide reports to senior management for review of information security risk and governance
•Keep abreast with latest security and privacy regulations, advisories and alerts.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
• 6-8 yrs of experience in the field of Information Technology & Security audits and at least seven (4) years of Information Systems & Security audit experience
• Understanding and experience with risk and compliance (GRC) concepts / tools, hands-on knowledge of ISO 27001, ITIL
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) including effective presentation and training skills to all levels of the organization and the ability to communicate IT risk in business terms; confidence to talk and present to senior leadership
• Effective PC and documentation skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project etc.)
• Must be able to take initiative in the interest of company and its customers and ability to work with all levels of staff
• Certifications such as CISA, ISO27001 LA preferred and experience and exposure to Financial Services industry
