PHH Mortgageseeks an Associate, Modification Administration to support the Loss MitigationAdministration Team.  The Associatereports to the Director, Modification Administration. The Associate will handle all processing aspects of loss mitigation with anemphasis on modifications. The Modification Administration team overseesvarious functions including trial tracking, denials, final modificationapprovals, agreement quality check, andresponding to loss mitigation inquiries. The Associate’s ability to remainflexible while handling all aspects of the end to end loss mitigationresolution process and provide excellent customer service is critical forsuccess in the role.

Job Functionsand Responsibilities:


To perform this job successfully, an individualmust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Manage end-to-end resolution processing tasks whileensuring compliance with respect to business rules, operational processes,regulatory directives, and audit requirements

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and advisethe Director, Modification Administration of findings

  • Communicate with team members and other BusinessUnits via email and phone

  • Create reports and analyze data, including DailyException Report

  • Resolve all assigned escalations within therequired timeframe

  • Perform other tasks, research, and special projectsas required


To perform this job successfully, an individualmust have the following education and/or experience:

  • Exceptional communication skills required: over the phone, inwriting, and in person.

  • HS Graduate, some college or degree preferred. 

  • 1 or more years’ experience in related mortgage servicing ormortgages preferred

  • Strong PC skills required Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to gather, compile and analyze data

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments; able toprioritize and adhere to strict deadlines

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
