Description
The Director, Marketing will direct and oversee the marketing initiatives for PHH Consumer Direct Lending department. The position will report to the Senior Vice President, Consumer Direct Lending and will manage a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising, direct mail and digital marketing campaigns focused on portfolio recapture. The Director, Marketing will leverage and create all analytics required to establish our ongoing marketing strategies. This dynamic leader will establish and maintain vendor relationships while being the key driver of marketing innovation, tactical execution and quality assurance.
 
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and lead optimization
• Set current and long-term goals for recapture marketing
• Design and review the Marketing department’s budget
• Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
• Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for Senior Leadership
• Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
• Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
• Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department
• Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives
• Track competitors’ activities
Key result areas will include:
• Create and execute impactful marketing strategies that increase portfolio recapture rates and drive increased sales metrics
• Design, maintain and utilize an effective analytical environment
• Ensure Homeward’s customer service and service excellence values are represented throughout all marketing efforts

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Marketing, Business or related field, MBA strongly preferred
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a marketing team
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing marketing within mortgage industry
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience implementing recapture strategies
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
• Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite products with a superior knowledge of Word, and Excel.
• Complex problem solving and strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
