Position Summary:

1st Level Security Operations professional for our inhouse Security team. In this role, individual is expected to monitor (24x7x365), notify, escalate, investigate and resolve information security events. The security analyst will also perform preliminary examinations of security events for context, relevance, and criticality. The professional will work with a highly skilled and diverse team to ensure that the we protect the information assets of the organization.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Understanding of of security Deployment, Monitoring, Managing and Maintaining below security solutions in Security Operations Centre
•Firewall, IPS/IDS, Web Application Firewall, Enterprise Proxy, Pac files
•Secure Email Gateway,
•DLP,SIEM
•Enterprise Anti-Virus Solution
•Vulnerability Management Process
•Perform real time security event monitoring and perform quick analysis of attacks and threat.
•Work with the Security Incident Management team to respond to and resolve security incidents effectively including performing After Actions Reviews and Root Cause Analysis.
•Understanding on creating and fine tuning of DLP related policies and procedures based on business process requirements.
•Contribute towards continuous process improvements by providing inputs on the current processes and possible improvement opportunities.
•Execute vulnerability scans, monitor results, and distribute reports and Support user related issues such as security agent deployment, encryption key reset, etc
•Should have a comprehensive understanding of the IT controls, its implementation and effectiveness testing.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
• Minimum to have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent
• Basic understanding of networking and technology.
• Requires high initiative and ability to work independently and according to strict schedules
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Process-oriented with high attention to detail
• 3 to 5 Years of hands on experience in security operation center.
