Job Description



•The job would require technical skillset along with people management skills
•As first line of defense its required to identify the risk and remediate the same timely basis to prevent any regulatory or audit exposure
•Due to recent attrition we have lost technical expertise to assess the required risk. This position shall fulfil the gap
•Job Content – How is a job unique compared to other jobs at the same level in the department
•The candidate shall perform comprehensive technical risk assessment which shall assist in identifying and remediating the risks. He shall also have a change to represent ITRO to various stakeholders across IT verticals providing him/her visibility


•Identifying and assessing risks in the organization’s IT Infrastructure
•As a member of the Change Management board, evaluate, analyze, and approve IT infrastructure changes
•Identifying and assessing risks in the organization’s Security Operations tools and processes. Providing Security Operations oversight as first line of defense
•Define and establish governance in relation to capacity and performance management
•Establish prioritization criteria for migration plans based on identified threats
•Lead the team to achieve expected deliverables, which include implementing and refining a technology risk strategy in order to achieve business resiliency
•Provide strategic technology direction to ensure required level of functionality and performance, and to manage risk, improve reliability, and ensure compliance with applicable policy and standards
•Conduct assessment/review of IT processes and recommend action for improving IT governance maturity using reference frameworks like COBIT, ITIL and ISO 20000
•Closely work with the Technology Leadership Team to establish operational and risk goals and success metrics
•Work closely with the Enterprise Risk Management team and ensure risks are reduced or maintained at minimum levels
•Assist in development of IT risk policies, standards, and procedures
•Ensure policy and procedure artifacts pertaining to IT Risk-Service and Infrastructure Management, (including but not limited to incident response, segregation of roles and responsibilities, risk register, etc.). are up-to-date and regularly reviewed by appropriate management
•End to end management of IT Service and Infrastructure Management risk team, including hiring, training, staff development, performance management and annual performance reviews




• MBA or Masters in equivalent stream or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of different threat landscapes and the ability to carry out risk analysis and evaluation
• 6- 8 yrs. of experience in IT Risk Management
• At least seven (4) years of IT Risk Management & Security experience
• Subject matter expertise in performing risk assessments for applications
• Experience with development of an organization’s “risk appetite” is a plus
• Hands on experience with risk and compliance (GRC) concepts and tools
• ITIL, CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001 LA certifications are a plus
• Recent exposure in the Financial Services industry is preferred
• Maintain high levels of knowledge by keeping abreast with latest IT risks, privacy regulations, advisories and alerts
• Deep understanding of Service and Infrastructure Management with additional exposure to Data Governance, Application Management, and Project Management


• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) this includes effective presentation and training skills to engage with all levels of an organization.
• The ability to forge strong work relationships and work well as part of a team with all levels of staff
• “Out of the box thinker” who is not afraid to show initiative in achieving the best interests of the company and its customers.
• Possesses strong skillsets in organization, planning, critical thinking, decision-making, conflict resolution, leadership and problem solving.


Should be willing to travel domestic or International depending on project requirements.
