POSITION SUMMARY:

• Application and job monitoring on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Supporting all the patching activities related to servers and applications
• Issue and gap analysis for Incidents/requests for all the supported applications and processes
• Capable of supporting existing and new applications
• Active involvement in any scope for automations
• Capable of working independently, takes initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed
• Demonstrates proficiency in ETL support
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, active listening and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Quick to learn new concepts
• Adapt to new projects quickly with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude


JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience in managing team and their shift rotations
• Experience with Control-M Administration on Distributed Systems
• Experience on Deployment of BMC Control-M packages from scratch and upgrading activities
• Should be able to work with a significant degree of independence, evaluate and analyze complex problems/issues
• Strong experience on scheduling tool Migration from one scheduling to Control-M
• Control-M Jobs monitoring, job flow analysis and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with Control-M Job Owners in analyzing and troubleshooting
• Administration of Control-M users via Control-M Security
• Good knowledge of Informatica PC monitoring
• Strong skills on Unix Shell Scripting
• Good Knowledge on Oracle SQL
• Should be capable of handling installation, upgrading and maintaining Control-M and related applications
• Control-M Agent Installation, Configuration, and Deployment activities
• Troubleshooting of administrative issues in Control-M environment and connect with Vendor
• Good understanding of utilities and various automation activities, which can be done through control-M utilities
• Should be able provide solutions to batch scheduling and operations team for any control-m related issues
• Manage any Control-M improvements projects related to automation and best practice
• Manage any Control-M upgrade projects including planning, testing, and working with the Distributed and security support teams
• Support various scripts and provide monitoring of various directories in production
• Disaster Recovery Design Architect, Planning Strategy, Document Writer and Implementer / Participator in plan execution
• On call support and handling issues as per business priority
• Knowledge of Incident and Change management process as per ITIL good with SNOW
• Adapt to new projects quickly with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude



Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE


• UG:B.Tech/B.E. - Computers
• PG:Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
• Overall 7+ years of experience as Production support specialist in Control-M administrator/Operator and Scheduler

Flexible to work in night shifts and 24/7 model on a rotational basis.
