Job Description


Responsible for evaluation of company financial results and preparation of monthly management financial reporting analytics with opportunity to:

  • Work with direct visibility to CFO on key strategic initiatives
  • Present to Executive Leadership team
  • Be involved with financial planning and analysis operations
  • Work with skilled professionals with diverse backgrounds and supporting multiple stakeholders

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate company key financial results and prepare monthly management financial reporting with business operational drivers
  • Assist with creation of consolidated budgets and forecasts
  • Support various ad-hoc analysis, regulatory reporting, Board updates and other assignments associated with income statement activity
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
  • Provide highest level of internal and external customer service
  • Detailed duties will also include maintaining reports, preparing presentations, extracting data, entering data in spreadsheets, employing complex and dynamic filters, documenting work procedures, validating data accuracy
  • Work with management to provide actionable recommendations back to the senior management and working teams for improvement.
  • Contribute to multiple projects through all phases in a timely and effective manner through collaboration with various departments.

Key Result Areas:

  • Develop and maintain measurable analytic processes
  • Continuously improve analytics and forecasting methodology
  • Provide specific driver-based explanations for variances between planned and actual results

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Minimum of 5 years mortgage experience required with increasing levels of responsibility with a focus in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Undergraduate degree in finance or business or equivalent professional work experience
  • Ability to partner with all levels of management to ensure effective implementation of time-sensitive initiatives and identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Must have a demonstrated and proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced deadline-driven and constantly changing environment
  • A successful track record of developing strong relationships across a broad range of leadership functions allowing the person to effectively influence and effect change.
  • Ability to present concisely with clarity
  • Ability to independently analyze, lead, and present with very limited guidance
  • Ability to work with teams, especially across locations and time zones
  • Solid understanding of financial activity
  • Strong analytical ability; review and present data concisely and accurately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Hyperion/Oracle EPBCS preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Hands on experience with SQL
  • Competencies in problem solving, creativity, organizational skills while showing good judgment and execution within a fast-paced environment

Training / Licensing Requirements:

  • Must pass the Company’s Background Screening process prior to beginning employment.
