POSITION SUMMARY:

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Summary:
We are currently seeking Software Quality Assurance Analysts to join our Enterprise Software Quality Assurance group under IT team in India. The Software Quality Assurance Analysts will be responsible for all aspects of testing for the various software applications used by the Ocwen business units. Analysts will become an expert in the business’s processes and the software systems that are used in Ocwen – specifically in the area of Mortgage Servicing and Enterprise Functions. The ideal candidate will be someone with a background in the mortgage industry, a solid understanding of various technology platforms, very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly. The Solution Delivery Services organization is a fast paced and rewarding environment delivering software solutions to various business units.
Job Functions:
• Work with Business Teams/technology teams for understanding requirements & existing application workflows – working hours aligned to mid-shift India (2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST)
• Work with Test Managers for Test planning, Test estimations
• Perform Impact Analysis of the changes and come up with Software Testing scope
• Maintain traceability between Business Process & application modules
• Design test cases and execute tests for major and minor updates to our software programs
• Perform all aspects of testing including functional, regression and system testing
• Facilitate user acceptance testing with end-users as needed
• Develop & maintain Regression Test Suites
• Test automation using tools like Selenium/TestComplete
• Perform Root cause analysis of the UAT & Production defects to enhance the existing SIT Test suites
• Create and track system defects and test resolutions to defects
• Collaborate with developers, business units, and system analysts & administrators
• Perform all other duties as assigned
Key Competencies:
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong, broad working knowledge of software quality assurance process
• Must be flexible to work on functional testing + Automation testing
• Good working knowledge on Selenium – test automation tool
• Must have worked on at-least one Test Management tool like ServiceNow, Quality Center, JIRA etc
• Excellent relationship building and communication aptitude
• Strong industry and functional knowledge of products/processes/services for supporting internal and external businesses that are specific to the financial services and/or mortgage banking industry
• Significant achievement history in process analysis and optimization

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE –
Minimum 4 years of Software Testing experience
Bachelor’s degree
