POSITION SUMMARY:
The Reporting Analyst will provide methodologies, processes, architectures, and technologies that transform system data into meaningful and useful information to support regulatory, compliance and business performance management efforts. A successful candidate for this role will have background in business intelligence tools and program implementation, data warehousing, predictive data analytics, statistical modeling, MIS reporting and will possess profound technical skills in data manipulation. The right candidate will work closely with the business units to identify areas for process improvement and assist the business associates in meeting their goals through the creation of process efficiencies and reporting

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparing Management & Production reports on a daily/Weekly/monthly basis
• Collaborate with the business leaders for the preparation of clear, accurate compelling performance reporting
• Lead the automation of existing reports using VB/Access/MS Excel Macros
• Develop Dashboards and Reports in accordance with BU requirements
• Review for accuracy and completeness of key reports
• Maintain a reporting Inventory
• Assist and lead any ad hoc projects, request for data and analysis
• Assess business opportunities through data mining, statistical analysis and leveraging key business insights to deliver maximum operational efficiency with minimal cost
• Identify new sources of actionable data, data-capture mechanisms, and means of data-integration into databases


QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science /management information systems/information technology
• 2-4 + years serving in a Business Intelligence and Analytics role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications to include Excel and Power Point
• Knowledge of data base management system (Microsoft Access, SQL) is a must. Ability to run queries through Oracle SQL Developer and MS Access.
• Knowledge of VB
• Excellent research, comprehension and verbal/written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must demonstrate the ability to think & work independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Proven track record with detail-oriented assignments.
