Servicing Transaction Management department is responsible for the loan and deboarding process. This role relates to relates to converting other servicers data to upload into Ocwen’s loan servicing system and subsequently validating the data uploaded versus the documents received for all newly boarded loans. This position will also manage extracting all relevant data for servicing transfers out of Ocwen as well as all transactional processing required to effectuate a loan modification within Ocwen’s loan servicing system. Finally, this position will manage all data transmissions and communications with prior and new servicers. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Servicing Transaction Management.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, train, motivate and develop subordinate staff members
  • Monitor daily production reports to ensure appropriate accuracy levels and turnaround times are met
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (i.e. RESPA, USAP, Sarbox, etc.)
  • Oversee training programs or career development type programs to build team strength and consistency
  • Retain top performers and remove non-performers
  • Produce monthly Operational Reports for Executive Management
  • Create project plans and milestone trackers for all loan boarding’s/debearding’s
  • Hold parties accountable to ensure all milestones for deboarding/boarding are being met
  • Maintain policies and procedures for all functions
  • Ensure all documentation provided to prior/new servicers are updated and communicated
  • Set up meetings with internal and external partners to facilitate loan boarding/deboarding process
  • Monitor daily production reports to ensure appropriate accuracy levels and turnaround times are met
  • Assist with data mapping questions and ensure all data elements are available
  • Create review required control reporting related to boarding’s/debearding’s
  • Ensure all artifacts related to loan boarding’s/deboarding are obtained
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external partners regarding loan boarding/deboarding process
  • Ensure all quality steps are completed
  • Review presentations with new clients regarding PHH onboarding/deboarding processes
  • Escalate any possible deadline misses in regarding servicer or internal constraints
  • Ensure all correspondence delivery related to loan boarding/deboarding activities is completed
  • Ensure all images and post boarding activities are completed within required timeframes
  • Self-driven, should be able to handle high pressure
  • Willing to work extra hours as per the process requirements/Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements

KEY RESULTS AREA: (if needed)

  • Reduce number of Servicing Transaction Management related customer complaints by a designated management percentage year over year
  • Achieve the accurate and timely release of loan information on Ocwen systems and the timelines established by management
  • Ensure all milestones are met and completed timely with all loan boarding/debearding’s
  • Timely responses to servicers and internal parties

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This position requires a significant amount of mortgage servicing knowledge, including but not limited to, the ability to identify and understand various data points utilized within loan servicing systems to successfully service loans and interpret mortgage loan collateral and loan servicing documentation used in conjunction with the data to service loans.
  • Prior management experience required
  • Ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills; specifically, MS Excel and Access
  • Ability to work independently, meet established deadlines and be very detailed orientated and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communications (verbal and written) as well as presentation skills
    Ability to solve complex problems.

  • Aggressive follow up skills and superior organizational skills are a must.
  • A graduate degree from an accredited university is required.
