Responsible for driving the monthly financial close process, coordinating with other departments the annual strategic planning process, and analyzing performance to support both tactical actions and strategic planning within the Servicing organization w ith opportunity to:

  • work directly with the CFO on key strategic initiatives
  • present to Executive Leadership team
  • be involved with financial planning and analysis operations
  • work with skilled professionals with diverse backgrounds and supporting multiple stakeholders

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Drive monthly financial close process for the Servicing department , develop and present variance analysis, communicate trends, exceptions, and areas of improvement to senior leaders, and also maintain and enhance efficiency of internal financial reporting processes in concert with partners in accounting
  • Create customized analyses to support decision making at the highest levels
  • Oversee and coordinate the Servicing annual budgeting process
  • Provide leadership for the global corporate FP&A team including development, coaching, and motivating in addition to coordination of efforts
  • Partner with Servicing senior leadership and Finance leadership to create presentations that represent the Company
  • Lead and support key internal and external strategic projects including new initiatives leveraging models and analytics
  • Collaborate with various departments to contribute to multiple projects through all phases in a timely and effective manner
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
  • Provide highest level of internal and external customer service

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in FP&A with increasing levels of responsibility, including advanced level understanding of planning and variance analysis
  • Minimum of 5 years' mortgage experience required with experience in Servicing preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Technology or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to partner with all levels of management to ensure effective implementation of time-sensitive initiatives and identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to work with teams, especially across locations and time zones, in execution of projects and identification/ resolution of deficiencies or opportunities for improvement
  • Strong analytical ability and understanding of financial activity
  • A successful track record of developing strong relationships across a broad range of leadership functions allowing for effective influencing and change.
  • Ability to analyze and present complex financial information concisely with clarity
  • Ability to independently analyze, lead, and present with very limited guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills .
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (SQL experience a plus)
  • Competencies in problem solving, creativity, organizational skills while showing good judgment and execution within a fast-paced environment

Training / Licensing Requirements:

  • Must pass the Company's Background Screening process prior to beginning employment.
