The Vice President, FP&A will be a key financial partner for the CFO and other key leaders across the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the financial planning and analysis processes, conducting analytics on the entire P&L, liaising with various functions, and providing support to business heads. This role will be responsible for developing and driving the FP&A team, understanding FP&A team needs, driving constructive and engaging conversations, monitoring stakeholder feedback, and identifying trends and opportunities to advance Ocwen's overall business and financial strategy

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes and management reviews for the Company aligned with key strategic initiatives
  • Conduct in depth financial analysis in support of quarterly Board of Directors meeting and company earnings
  • Provide support to the business in the delivery of financial targets
  • Ensure the Senior Management are regularly updated on financial performance; provide insight into key variances and business trends and identify risk and opportunities to ensure delivery of the short-term financial targets and long-term strategic targets
  • Support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting requirements in accordance with deadlines
  • Support key strategic projects such as portfolio growth and cost re-engineering initiatives
  • Review results against budget, forecast and prior periods and prepare monthly commentary and variance analysis
  • Evaluates company key financial results and prepare monthly management financial reporting with business operational drivers
  • Coordinate inputs from the various functions for both revenues and costs, analyze the forecast / budget outputs to support the review and process
  • Drive quarterly investor meeting process with key deliverables - Earnings deck and press release
  • Coordinate with tax team on legal entity forecasting and income tax estimates
  • Develop partnership with stakeholders throughout organization

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience
  • Minimum 16- 18 years of experience within the Finance function or with relevant experience
  • Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience of resolving complex business problems with well-structured analytics
  • Ability to handle projects with multiple work streams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of business problems
  • Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment
  • Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint required
