Job Description

The Sr. Program Manager will have overall responsibility to manage key strategic projects for the Company. This position will report directly to a Director of Project and Portfolio Management.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Examples below:

  • Responsible for managing the overall Capital Markets and IT project portfolio.
  • Develops the program strategy, supporting business case, and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans.
  • Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business.
  • Communicates with Capital Markets and IT leadership and business leadership on program strategy, direction, and changes.
  • Responsible for delivering all projects contained in the Capital Markets and IT project portfolio on time, within budget and ensures projects meet the strategic and business requirements.
  • Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers.
  • Responsible for finding creative solutions to key Capital Markets and IT issues affecting the enterprise and managing the risks involved around the issues.
  • Has extensive experience delivering Capital Markets and IT solutions.
  • Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues.
  • Work assignments are typically focused on critical products for the organization.
  • Works independently and will likely supervise the work of lower level personnel
  • Partners with senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
  • Creates high performing and self-sustaining cross functional teams that efficiently use time and resources.
  • Achieves "win-win" solutions even in high conflict situations.
  • Serves as an expert and business advisor to Ocwen leaders and customers regarding technology decisions and applications.
  • Serves as a key information resource regarding market and industry developments.
  • Is highly effective in ability to develop and interpret information in the context of the company's interests.
  • Works with a long-term perspective in addressing customer problems.
  • Identifies and acts on ways to streamline resources to make things better for the customer.
  • May trade off immediate costs for the sake of the long-term relationship.
  • Seeks to add value and looks for the long-term benefits for the customer
  • When communicating, uses information from a wide variety of impactful sources (e.g., financial, strategic, qualitative, etc.) for the most clear and complete explanation or solution.
  • Creates high performing and self-sustaining cross functional teams that efficiently use time and resources.
  • Changes the overall plan, goal, or project to improve the efficiency or potential of a situation.
  • May make small or temporary changes in own team or with the customer to meet the needs of a specific situation
  • Creates solutions that significantly impact the future success of the customer and his/her department.
  • Others request this person to be a member of special projects or committees due to his/her ability to analyze, critique and offer suggestions which are not readily apparent to others
  • Anticipates the future and takes decisive action to either create or minimize potential problems.
  • Does things before being asked to or forced to by events and proactively addresses next steps, upcoming issues and obstacles.
  • Uses significant knowledge of informal Ocwen relationships to accomplish goals.

  • Initiates challenging personal development plans that will grow core capabilities in multiple areas including broad business knowledge and skills.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Bachelors/Master's Degree in project management or business-related field with at least 7+ years' experience.
  • Ability to manage staff and make personnel decisions
  • Ability to manage the results and budgets of multiple complex Capital Markets and IT projects that are high in complexity, size, and scope
  • Must have extensive breadth of experience managing risks and delivering projects that are highly
  • complex
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other senior leaders of Capital Markets and IT on program strategies and plans and negotiate quality solutions
  • Ability to articulate business requirements and transform those into program strategies and project plans
  • Ability to manage enterprise wide IT issues, conflicts, risks, and deliver projects within budget and scope

Training / Licensing Requirements:

  • Must pass the Company's Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.
