The Reverse Specialist, Loss Draft is responsible for assisting and monitoring the loss drafts.
As an established leader in the Reverse Mortgage Origination space, PHH is excited to be building a best in class Reverse Mortgage Servicing platform. This platform will service our own originated product and ultimately provide outstanding servicing to third-party clients. Over the coming months, we will be building out the Servicing platform and leveraging our existing infrastructure where ever possible. Job Functions and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Examples below:
- Monitors vendor performance for insurance tracking and escrow disbursements for the portfolio
- Processing all incoming and outgoing loss draft mail received by Assurant and various departments
- Reviewing all loss draft checks being deposited and released to ensure accuracy
- Assisting in working edit reports, researching complex issues, special projects as assigned
- Act as a back-up for monthly audits and QC reporting, and interact with other Servicing Departments.
- Various other duties, as assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, equivalent certification, or military experience required
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be analytical, logical and detail oriented
