POSITION TITLE: Senior Specialist, Foreclosure- Commercial Default
Position Summary:
The Senior Specialist, Foreclosure Commercial Default will manage default timelines and workflow processes on loans in default in accordance with established work rules, goals & objectives to improve timeline and attorney performance. The Senior Specialist will handle all processing within Foreclosure processes.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Examples below:
• Review loans in Pre-Foreclosure status and refer loans to Foreclosure
• Manage foreclosure timelines and workflow processes on loans in foreclosure in accordance with established work rules, goals & objectives to improve timeline and attorney performance.
• Contact foreclosure attorneys on loans in foreclosure
• Review daily /weekly reports for exceptions and timeline discrepancies
• Confirm sale dates and ensure the attorney has bidding instructions
• Ensure sale results are received timely and documented in the system within 24 hours
• Approve re-projections and issues raised by the Vendor
• Escalate document processing delays to Management
• Communicate with the attorneys to ensure the current status of the loan is reflected in servicing system at all times
• Identify and refer contested loans to in-house counsel for proposed resolution/settlement
• Coordinate with Contract Management for execution of foreclosure documents
• Other duties as assigned
• Review hold inventory to make sure loans are released off hold timely
• Prepare policy, procedure, control, and inspection of whole loan servicing portfolio
• Identify area's opportunities and work with management for process improvement
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of fifteen years of education.
• Preference will be given to any candidate that has prior experience in Default process
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be analytical, logical and detail oriented
• No documented disciplinary action in the past 12 months
• Should have an Appraisal rating of "B" or above in the last completed performance cycle
